My heart goes out to the victims and families of those who died in the shooting today at the Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. A cruel, heartless person took 27 lives, 18 of which are small children. I can’t imagine what Christmas would be like for the victims’ families. It is truly heartbreaking. May God give them the strength to overcome this tragedy.

My son loves all sorts of Musical Instruments. He is at his happiest when he is playing the piano or hitting the drums. That’s why me and the hubs are planning to enroll him in a music school once he’s old enough. We’ve already inquired in some of the schools here in SLC but they don’t accept 4-year-olds yet. Too young they said. Well, they have a point. They’ll be babysitting rather than teaching so we will just have to wait a few more years until Jaden is ready.

Dreaming of a wedding with a “wow”, my sister couldn’t make up her mind how to put that little unique “twist” in her wedding. Not quite sure which theme to choose, I helped her out browsing the entire line of themed wedding cake toppers at weddingstar.com. Personalized Napkins

Instead of using standard venue napkins, I selected custom, personalized napkins for my wedding reception. To the tiniest detail, from the ceremony down to the reception, my accessories got the wows and “ooohs” and “aaaahs” from our guests. In keeping with my wedding accent, I ordered for small gold prints of my first name and my husband’s on red-colored personalized napkins which were bordered with dainty prints of white daisies. We had both large napkins in the restrooms and smaller personalized napkins used as drink coasters and appetizer holders. Thanks to weddingstar.com, my wedding was really something to remember.
