As I mentioned on this post, I got the chance to join the 4th leg of the Davao Food Trip organized by Blogie last Saturday at Salutti. I am not really sure what Salutti means but if my taste buds were to define it, it would definitely mean DELECTABLE FOOD. And I must say, that among the Italian Restaurants here in Davao City, Salutti has the most affordable and most “customer-friendly” menu. Why did I say customer-friendly? Kasi madali lang basahin ang menu. Hehe!
Coz this is really my dilemma when I go to Italian Restaurants… para kasing tongue twisters yong pangalan ng dishes so I always end up calling the waiter to read it for me. Hehe! And sometimes it’s embarrassing ya know.
Anyway, because I just got my braces adjusted that day, I was limited to eating “soft food” only. The first dish I tried is the Chicken Fingers with Honey Mustard Dip.

Fried to perfection and I love the dip!

This is their Carbonara. I love its “herby and garlicky” taste.

I’m not much of a Cheesecake fan but this one is really yummy.

Their Moist Chocolate Cake is to die for! I haven’t tasted anything like it before. It’s so yummy and oh so chocolatey! You should really try this when you get a chance to visit Salutti. I think it cost around 85 pesos per serving.
The next time I go there, I would really order their Beef Salpicao. My fellow food trippers liked it so much but poor me, I wasn’t able to try it because of my damn braces. Feasting my eyes on this:

Yumm!
If you want to try Salutti, it’s located in the Habana Compound on Rizal St., Davao City. It’s right behind Claude’s Le Café de Ville. By the way, I’d like to thank Digital Puto and Davao Foodie for the photos. ![]()
