A couple from our community is going to celebrate their anniversary soon. It is going to be their tenth year as husband and wife. At first they planned on throwing a big party after they renew their vows but decided against it when an old friend invited them to UK. They realized that it would be so much better to go on another honeymoon abroad – something that they have not done for the longest time. So they grabbed the opportunity and booked flights right away.

Since it is another honeymoon for the couple, they decided to rent out one of those holiday cottages instead of living with the friend throughout their stay. They find it more convenient for both parties. And besides, since they are celebrating, they wanted to splurge a bit and pamper themselves. The one they chose is one of those Devon cottages by the countryside because they thought it would be nice to experience the country life while immersing in tradition and culture. My friends did their research and found out that Devon is also diverse in landscapes and natural environment. Did I mention that this couple is so much into outdoor activities? Visiting a place like Devon fits them well. They can spend the day discovering the wonders of nature and relax in the early evenings by the porch while watching the sun set.

While in UK, they will also go on a side trip to Scotland to see the famous castles. They will not stay long on this side so they did not see the need to rent those cottages scotland anymore. They realized that it will be much more practical to stay in a bed and breakfast because it is just an overnight stay, or two nights at most.

I am excited for them, just hearing about the plans. This is an adventure that they will forever remember.
