Gaah! Sobrang napagod ako sa activities namin today dumagdag pa ang humid weather. May small lunch party kasi kami sa bahay for Ate’s birthday and I helped prepare the food pati na sa pag entertain sa visitors. Inimbita kasi ni ate yong Pastor nila sa church pati na rin yong batchmates nya sa UP. Tyempong Alumni Homecoming din ng UP ngayon kaya marami-rami rin ang bisita. Dumaan muna sila sa bahay bago dumiretso sa campus. Si ate naman humabol na lang kanina around 8pm kasi nga she’s expecting her MCFCS co-teachers to go to our house. Hinatid namin sya sa UP campus after dinner… syempre buntis kaya kailangan may bodyguards. Hehe! Sumaglit na rin ako dun sa homecoming party to say HI to my classmates. It was really nice to see them again after how many years. Pero iisa lang talaga comment nila - ang taba ko na raw! Yay! Eh syempre noong nag-aaral pa ako sa UP sobrang payatot ko. Hehe! I just told them na nahiyang ako sa buhay may asawa tsaka well-maintained. Hahaha! Tawanan lang sila. Kakamiss daw kakulitan at kakengkoyan ko. Hehe! I was also able to hear FVR’s speech. Sya kasi ang guest of horror .. este honor. Kaya pala ang daming military men kanina sa Mintal at daming dumaan na helicopter. Kala ko coup d’état na. Hehe! Pinatapos ko lang si FVR magsalita tska ako umalis. Ayaw ko rin paghintayin ng matagal sa kotse ang bayaw ko. Anyway, yong picture na nasa itaas eh kuha ko using my phone cam kaya pangit ang resolution. I just wanna show you UP Mindanao’s version of the infamous Oblation Statue. Ang macho no? Hehe! Oops.. ang haba na pala ng kwento ko. Mukhang di pagod pero sa totoo lang super tired at antok na ako ngayon kaya mga friends I’ll just post more updates tomorrow. For now, let me get some Z’s. Sobrang adik talaga ako sa Spring Waltz so expect a post from me on weekdays. Hehe! Anyway, gumaganda na ang story kasi nagkakaroon na ng conflict ang mga characters. But what caught my attention tonight is the scene between Phillip and Chris. Eto conversation nila:

Chris: Ewan ko… pag nandyan sya sumisikip ang dibdib ko sa sobrang saya at nerbyos…

I’m off to pay our water bill because I don’t want to go beyond the “no discount period.” Sayang din noh. Our discounted bill is 157.40 pesos and if I pay it tomorrow, it will come to 173.30 pesos - that’s 15.90 savings ya know. Pwede na pambili ng cheese de sal for merienda. Hehe! Siguro nagtataka kayo bakit ang liit ng water bill namin. Want to know our secret? Hmmnn… Once a week lang kami naliligo! Hahaha! Yuckers! lol! Joke lang bitaw uy. Sige na… babooo na muna byuti ko. See yah laterz!

Gosh… I feel so overwhelmed right now and I can’t help but be teary-eyed when I read DL’s email this morning. Here it is:

Nabitin yong kwento ko on my previous post so here’s the continuation.

Like what I said, hubby prepared a “little” surprise on our 2nd wedding anniversary. When I woke up in the morning, I found a bunch of sweet-smelling peach roses beside me (naks!). And he also prepared a special breakfast for me. Sobrang na-touch ako sa effort nya kasi hindi naman sya yong type ng lalaki na nagbibigay ng flowers. I think this is just the 5th time that he gave me flowers. Mas gusto nya kasi material things coz it would last longer. Pero ewan, mas gusto ko pa rin ng flowers kaya parati ko sya pinaparinggan. Hehehe! Feeling ko kasi ang haba2x ng hair ko pag binibigyan ako ng bulaklak. lol! Pero kung diamond versus flowers, syempre diamond pipiliin ko. Haha! Pero no need to choose kasi may diamond ring na ako.

Anyway, kagagaling lang namin ni hubby sa Jollibee. Anniversary kasi nila kaya may buy 1 take 1 promo sila sa Jolly Spaghetti, French Fries at Regular Yum meals. Buti na lang nakahabol pa kami kasi until 10pm lang pala yong promo. We didn’t go there earlier kasi sangkatutak ang tao. Lam nyo naman ang mga pinoy, mahilig sa special offer. Hehe!

Ok sige, bye2x na muna byuti ko. Midnight na pala. Need to get my much needed beauty rest. I’ll see you all later in the morning. {{hugs}}

Hmmn… talagang tinatamad ako ngayon. Ang sarap humilata buong araw. lol! Gusto ko sana mag-scrap pero wala rin si mojo eh. San kaya ‘yon napunta? Hmnn… Pwede bang kumanta na lang ako? First and foremost, pagpasensyahan nyo na ang face ni fafa john lloyd sa poster na ‘to. Nasobrahan ang pagkaka-edit sa Photoshop kaya nagmukha tuloy syang bakla. Hahaha!

Anyway, hubby and I watched this movie today and I super duper mega uber love it! The movie was beautifully done and the actors and actresses portrayed their roles well. Sobrang timing ng pagpasok namin sa loob ng sinehan kasi climax na ng movie. Yon ang scene na binitiwan ni fafa john lloyd ang linyang “She loved me at my worst. You had me at my best… then you chose to break my heart.” Huhuhu! Super cry2x talaga ako sa part na ‘to. Di pa umiinit yong pwet ko sa upuan pero sobrang init na ng tears sa eyes ko. Buti nalang may dalang panyo si hubby. Isipin nyo ha, di ko pa alam yong whole story kasi nga last part na yong naabutan namin pero naiyak pa rin ako. Hehehe! (ang engot ano?)

Nanood kami ng sine kanina ni hubby kasi aalis na naman sya bukas so we tried to squeeze in “Stardust” in our busy schedule. Buti na lang 10pm ang last full show sa NCCC Mall kaya nakahabol pa kami. We both liked the movie kasi sobrang nakakaaliw lalo na yong role ni Robert De Niro. Hehehe! Tawa ng tawa kami dun sa scene na sumasayaw sya sa harap ng salamin wearing a ballerina costume. lol! Be sure to watch this movie coz it’s very entertaining.

Here’s a synopsis so you will have an idea what the movie is all about:

A young man named Tristan (Charlie Cox) tries to win the heart of Victoria (Sienna Miller), the beautiful but cold object of his desire, by going on a quest to retrieve a fallen star. His journey takes him to a mysterious and forbidden land beyond the walls of his village. On his odyssey, Tristan finds the star, which has transformed into a striking girl named Yvaine (Claire Danes). However, Tristan is not the only one seeking the star. Lord Stormhold’s (Peter O’Toole) three living sons not to mention the ghosts of their four dead brothers all need the star as they vie for the throne. Tristan must also overcome the evil witch, Lamia (Michelle Pfeiffer), who needs the star to make her young again. As Tristan battles to survive these threats, encountering a pirate named Captain Shakespeare (Robert De Niro) and a shady trader named Ferdy the Fence (Ricky Gervais) along the way, his quest changes. He must now win the heart of the star for himself as he discovers the meaning of true love.

Anyways, log off na ako kasi matutulog na raw si hubby. Nighty-night everybody!

Pasingit: I love the movie kaya lang sa iba na lang sana binigay ‘yong role ni Claire Danes. Let’s say kay Natalie Portman or kay Liv Tyler kasi mas bagay yong beauty nila sa role. Di naman kasi masyadong kagandahan si Claire pero in fairness magaling naman sya umarte. Bumawi ba? lol!

… here in Davao Doctor’s Hospital! Astig talaga tong bro-in-law ko kasi pati dito sa hospital eh nahanapan nya ng way na makakonek sa internet. Hehe. Gumawa sya ng mini antenna using an empty 7up 1.5 liter bottle. I’ll show you the pic  later pagdating ko sa bahay kasi  walang available na USB connector dito.

Anyway, bumaba na ang BP ni ate from 180/120 to 130/80 kaya lang umandar na naman asthma nya. Toinks! Nakanebulize sya ngayon. Naaawa talaga ako kay ate kasi ang dami nyang nararamdaman pero di naman sya weak. Chikadora pa rin at maingay. Hehe! Baka bukas pwede na raw sya lumabas pero dapat complete bed rest talaga. So for the mean time, dito muna sya sa Davao.

Ok sige, baboo na muna byuti ko. Magreresearch pa ako para sa thesis ng little sister ko. See yah later!

After a 9-day vigil, my dearest lola was taken to her final resting place in Mintal Public Cemetery last Wednesday and was laid next to my lolo’s tomb. It was a draining event for all of us, both physically and emotionally. Doon na kasi nag sink in yong reality na di na namin makikita si lola ever again… sobrang nakakalungkot. Anyway, bago pa ako maiyak ulit, share ko na lang yong pictures na kuha ko using my cell phone.
